Solution
This section describes the Address Book function. You can specify addresses using the Address Book function if you stored frequently used addresses in the Address Book or One-touch beforehand. Registering a destination in the Address Book or One-touch saves you efforts for entering destinations each time you send a job.
You can use following two types of speed dialing to specify destinations.

| Address Book | - The Address Book allows you to specify fax numbers, e-mail addresses, I-fax addresses, and file server addresses by simply pressing a few keys. - The Address Book search function enables you to search for a recipient registered in the Address Book or One-touch. (You can store destinations only in One-touch for the imageCLASS 8450C.) - Select <Address Book> to display the Address Book. | - 300 destinations maximum (including 200 destinations register in One-touch) - 200 destinations maximum for the imageCLASS 8450C (all the destinations registered in One-touch) |
NOTE
- If a password has been set for the Address Book, enter the password to access Address Book Settings menu. Enter the password using
- 
(numeric keys), then press [OK]. - Each address entry is treated as a single entry, so if a destination is registered in a group address, that destination and the group address are counted as two entries.
- New destinations cannot be registered in the Address Book or One-touch if <Limit New Destinations> in <Send Function Restriction> in <System Management Set.> is set to <On>.
- Destinations stored in the Address Book or One-touch can be exported to your computer as a file, which can be imported into the machine.
- For easy reference, it is recommended to print the list of destinations registered in the Address Book and One-touch.
