Canon Introduces MegaTank Business Printer with Innovative Front-access Auto Document Feeder Design

SINGAPORE, 5 September 2023 — Canon today announced the MegaTank GX6570 with a new full-front operation design, especially useful for small businesses with space limitations and height placement constraints. Similar to all models in the MAXIFY MegaTank series lineup, low-cost colour printing and water-resistant documents are paired with a refillable ink tank system to deliver an irresistible choice for business owners seeking maximum productivity gains. Alongside this, in catering to various needs, the MAXIFY MegaTank GX2070 is also unveiled as the latest model with a palette of productivity features, especially useful for those working from home and in small workgroup environments.

Compact, Unrivalled Ease of Use
The highlight of the MegaTank GX6570 is the front-facing, duplex auto document feeder (DADF) design that makes scanning or copying documents more intuitive and convenient. This design allows copying and scanning even when the printer is installed in a tight cabinet or under a work desk. Double-sided document originals can even be scanned easily in one pass without the need to turn over the pages manually.
The MegaTank GX6570 also includes a useful ID copy feature, allowing both sides of business cards or identification cards to be scanned easily. The Home Screen on the printer LCD can also be reconfigured to allow commonly used functions to be assigned for maximum accessibility.

The all-pigment formulation of the high-yield GI-76 ink bottles produce high-quality prints with intense contrast even on plain papers, with accurate colour reproduction and laser print-like sharpness. Text and colours resist bleeding or smudging when it comes to accidental water spills and application of highlighter ink, making them highly durable and long-lasting for business documents.
Boost Business Productivity
This desktop workhorse powers through large print jobs with ease, thanks to an automatic duplex (2-sided) printing engine, prints on a variety of matte and glossy surface media, and even envelopes and labels. The front and rear paper trays lend a total paper loading capacity of up to 350 sheets, which reduces the need to replace paper frequently and improves business workflow.
The large ink tanks and high-volume ink bottles keep printing costs low for businesses. A full set of ink delivers up to 14,0002 colour documents and 6,0002 greyscale documents. Further savings are possible when printing in Economy mode, without compromising on quality. Yields increase up to 21,0002 and 9,0002 pages in colour and greyscale, respectively.
The printer is equipped with a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge, minimising service centre visits and allowing users to continue printing with minimal downtime.

For businesses that require robust security measures, the MegaTank GX6570 offers advanced security features that ensure protection of sensitive documents, secure connection to the printer and wireless network with support for WPA enterprise security. The printer also includes an Ethernet port for setting up a wired network infrastructure. For businesses adopting smart devices for work, the free Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY mobile app supports printing and scanning, control of device settings, along with the setting up and operation of cloud services.
MegaTank Business Printer to Suit Every Need
As the latest addition to our MegaTank printers, MAXIFY MegaTank GX2070 combine water resistant1 and fast printing with a palette of productivity features, making it the ideal business machine when working from home and in small workgroup environments. The MegaTank GX2070 is capable of delivering yields at approximately 3,000 pages2 of full colour documents on a single set of ink bottles. With economy mode print setting, it pushes the yield to approximately 4,500 pages2.
The MegaTank GX2070 come equipped with an advanced auto duplex printing feature, enabling users to effortlessly print on both sides of paper. This reduces paper consumption and saves time, making the printing process eco-friendly and more cost-effective. It is also equipped with a fast Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that excels at scanning and copying multiple document originals.
Similar to the MegaTank GX6570, the MegaTank GX2070 feature user-replaceable print heads and maintenance cartridges, which simplifies printer maintenance and reduces downtime. The maintenance cartridge can also be easily accessed from the front, allowing the printers to be placed up against the wall, making installation in tight spaces possible.
