    Changing Control Ring Settings
    Reassign control ring functions as follows.
    Using the control ring is an enjoyable way to control the camera as you would a fully manual camera.

    1. Turn the camera on.

    2. Press the <MENU> button.



    3. Touch [ : Control Ring Settings] on the menu screen to select it.



    4. Touch [ Switch with ].


    NOTE
    • [ Switch with ] is set to [Disable] by default. If the default setting has not been changed, please proceed to step 6.

    5. Touch [Disable] on the screen displayed.



    6. Touch [Set Function].



    7. Touch the desired menu item on the screen displayed to select it.



    8. Press the < > button to complete the setting.



    Functions Assignable to the Control Ring
    Functions you can assign to the control ring vary depending on shooting mode, and those assignments determine which functions you can assign to the control dial.
    ItemShooting Mode

    Adjust the ISO speed.
    Correct the exposure.
    Correct white balance.
    Perform step zooming.
    Configure dynamic range.
    Enable or disable shadow correction.
    Adjust the aspect ratio.
    Assign functions as desired.

    NOTE
    • The < > ring can be used for step zooming in shooting modes other than those shown above.
