Solution
You can either select and erase unnecessary images one by one or erase them in one batch. Protected images will not be erased.
IMPORTANT
Once an image is erased, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you no longer need the image before erasing it. To prevent important images from being erased accidentally, protect them. Erasing a RAW+JPEG image will erase both the RAW and JPEG images.
1. Set the camera's power switch to <ON>.
2. Press <
>, then turn the <
> dial to play back the image to be erased.

The image displayed will be erased.
NOTE
Setting [

> button and turn the <> dial counterclockwise, you can select an image from a three image display. - To return to the single image display, turn the <> dial clockwise.
6. Turn the <> dial to select the image to be erased, then press <>.

To select other images to be erased, repeat step 6.
7. Erase the image.
- Press the <

The selected images will be erased in one batch
You can erase all the images in a folder or on a card at once. When [ 
: Erase images] is set to [All images in folder] or [All images on card], all the images in the folder or on the card will be erased.

- To erase all images, including protected images, format the card.
- When [All images on card] is selected, the images on the card selected for [Record/play] or [Playback] under [
