Solution
When shooting in [AUTO] mode in low-light conditions, [Raise the flash] may be displayed on the camera’s screen. In this case, please lift the flash with your finger. As there is no automatic function to raise the flash, the flash will not fire unless it is raised manually.
IMPORTANT
- The screens displayed may differ according to the model you use.
- The procedure is shown on a PowerShot SX400 IS for the purposes of explanation.
When the message shown above is displayed, please raise the flash with your finger as shown in the image below.
