    Solution

    RAW image format
RAW images are "raw" (unprocessed) data captured by the camera's image sensor, and recorded with essentially no loss of image quality from the camera’s internal image processing.
Each camera manufacturer has a different type of RAW format. Therefore, some applications do not support RAW images that have been captured by the camera.

Installing software that supports images captured with the camera
Please download the [Digital Camera Software] from the Canon homepage and install [Digital Photo Professional], or [ImageBrowser EX].
    NOTE
    • ImageBrowser EX*
    - Use ImageBrowser EX to manage images imported to your computer. With ImageBrowser EX, you can browse, edit, and print images on your computer.
*To view RAW images shot in aspect ratios other than 4:3, use Digital Photo Professional.
    • Digital Photo Professional
    - You can convert images from RAW to JPEG or TIFF and save them to a computer. You can also perform various image adjustments.
