Solution

Fully charging the NB-4L Battery Pack will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

NOTE

Charging time will vary depending on temperature of the surrounding environment and the charging situation.
If remaining battery time is an issue, you can power the camcorder using the optional CA-110 or CA-110E Compact Power Adapter. Battery packs cannot be charged by the camcorder even when the optional compact power adapter is used.
Charged battery packs continue to discharge naturally. Therefore, charge them on the day of use, or the day before, to ensure a full charge.

REFERENCE

Battery life can be prolonged by using the camcorder in temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C (50 °F and 86 °F) and turning off the power when it is not in use. Using the battery in colder environments may cause battery life to be shortened, so in these cases try putting the battery pack in your pocket to warm it up before using it.

Long-Term Storage

Store battery packs in a dry place at temperatures no higher than 30 °C (86 °F).
To extend the battery life of the battery pack, discharge it completely before storing it.
Charge and discharge all your battery packs fully at least once a year.
