    How to set High-Speed Continuous Shooting (High-speed Burst HQ)
    You can shoot a series of shots in rapid succession by holding the shutter button all the way down.
    You can shoot at a maximum speed of approx. 14 shots/sec.
    HQ stands for "High Quality".
    NOTE
    • Focus, image brightness, and color are determined by the first shot.
    • The screen is blank while you are shooting.
    • There may be a delay after continuous shooting before you can shoot again. Note that some types of memory cards may delay your next shot even longer. SD Speed Class 6 or higher memory cards are recommended.
    • Shooting may slow down depending on shooting conditions, camera settings, and the zoom position.

    1. Press the power button to turn the camera on, and then set the <Mode Dial> to ().


    2. Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


    3. The following screen appears.



    Press the <><> buttons or turn the <Control dial> to choose [Shooting Mode].
    (If no changes have been made so far, [Portrait] () will be displayed.
    Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.




    4. The following screen appears.



    Press the <><> buttons or turn the <Control dial> to choose [High-speed Burst HQ] (), and then press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


    5. The following screen appears.



    If the [High-speed Burst HQ] () icon is displayed on the upper-right part of the screen, the setting is completed.
    As long as you hold the <shutter button> down, the camera will shoot successive images.
    Release your finger from the shutter button to finish shooting, or shooting will end automatically when the maximum number of images have been shot.

    Viewing Each Image in a Group (Group Playback)
    When playing back images, images taken in [High-speed Burst HQ]()mode are displayed in a group with only the first image displayed, however, grouped images can also be viewed individually.
    IMPORTANT
    If you erase a grouped image, all images in the group are also erased. Be careful when erasing images.
    REFERENCE
    • To view images shot in [High Speed Burst EQ] () as a group, press the <MENU> () button, choose [Group Images] on the [Playback] () tab, and then choose [ON]. (The setting is [ON] by default.)


    1. Choose an image group.



    Press the <[|G0099806||3]]><> buttons or turn the <Control dial> to choose an image labeled [ ], and then press the <FUNC./SET> () button.




    2. The following screen appears.



    Press the <><> buttons or turn the <Control dial> to choose [Group Playback] (), and then press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


    3. The following screen appears.



    Pressing the <><> buttons or turning the <Control dial> will display only images in the group.
    To cancel group playback, press the <FUNC./SET> (), choose [ ] in the menu, and press the <FUNC./SET> () button again.
