Cautions Regarding the Mounting and Detaching of TS-E Lenses, and the use of TS-E lens Functions (Shift/Rotate) with the EOS REBEL SL1 / EOS 100D
Solution
Depending on the rotation angle of the lens, the shift knob may strike the built-in flash, and mounting/detaching the lens may not be possible.
When a TS-E lens is mounted on the EOS REBEL SL1 / EOS 100D and the camera is in a normal position, shifting the lens upward will cause it to strike the built in flash and the range of the shift function will be restricted by one setting.
When a TS-E lens is mounted on the EOS REBEL SL1 / EOS 100D, rotating the lens may cause the shift knob to strike the built-in flash and the range of possible rotation will be restricted.
