Issue
The message appears when the paper size specified in <Drawer 1>, <Drawer 2>*, or <Multi-Purpose Tray> in the <Paper Settings> menu is different from the size of the paper loaded in the multi-purpose tray. If the message appears, perform the following operations.
* Cassette 2 (optional) can be used only for MF8350Cdn.
Cause and Solution
Changing the <Paper Settings> menu according to the size of the loaded paper
IMPORTANT
For a print job, check that the paper size setting is correct also in a computer.
Loading paper of the size specified in the <Paper Settings> menu
Printing from the multi-purpose tray/manual feed slot
When <Register Default Set.> is set to <Off> for the multi-purpose tray, load paper in the multi-purpose
tray/manual feed slot, and then specify the size of the loaded paper correctly.
