IMPORTANT
- Print speed may drop depending on the settings for the paper size, paper type, and print copies.
- When you print the paper whose length is 264.4 mm or less continuously, the print speed may drop gradually. This is because the safety function that prevents damage caused by heat becomes active.
Plain Paper
This printer can print plain paper (60 - 89 g/m
) of the following sizes.
- Standard paper size: A4, B5, A5, Legal, Letter, Executive, 16K
- Custom paper size: Width 76.2 to 215.9 mm; Length 127.0 to 355.6 mm
* 100 % recycled paper (60 - 80 g/m
) can be used as plain paper.
Heavy Paper
This printer can print heavy paper (90 - 163 g/m
) of the following sizes.
- Standard paper size: A4, B5, A5, Legal, Letter, Executive, 16K
- Custom paper size: Width 76.2 to 215.9 mm; Length 127.0 to 355.6 mm
IMPORTANT
Printing speed drops when printing heavy paper.
Transparency
This printer can print A4 and Letter size transparencies.
IMPORTANT
- Thoroughly fan the transparencies before loading them as they may stick to each other.
- When fanning or aligning the transparencies, try to hold the edges to avoid touching the printing surface.
- Take care not to mark or stain the printing surface of the transparencies with fingerprints, dust, or oil. This may result in poor print quality.
- Printing speed drops when printing transparencies.
Label
This printer can print A4 and Letter size labels.
IMPORTANT
- Thoroughly fan the labels before loading them as they may stick to each other.
- Do not use the labels in the following conditions. Using inappropriate labels may result in paper jams that are difficult to clear or may result in damage to the printer.
- Peeled labels or partly used labels
- Coated labels that are easily peeled off from the backing sheet
- Labels with uneven adhesive
- Printing speed drops when printing labels.
Index Card
This printer can print Index Card.
Index card can be used in the manual feed tray only.
Envelope
This printer can print envelopes at sizes of DL, COM10, C5, and Monarch.
IMPORTANT
- Do not use the following types of envelopes. Using inappropriate envelopes may result in paper jams that are difficult to clear or may result in damage to the printer.
- Envelopes with fasteners or snaps
- Envelopes with address windows
- Envelopes with adhesive on the surface
- Wrinkled or creased envelopes
- Poorly manufactured envelopes in which the glued parts are uneven
- Irregularly-shaped envelopes
- Before loading the envelopes, flatten the stack of envelopes to release any remaining air, and press the fold lines tightly along the edges.
- Do not print on the reverse side (glued side) of envelopes.
- Printing speed drops when printing envelopes.
NOTE
If printing envelopes, they may become creased.
