Cause and Solution
Are the slide guides of the paper feeder set to the size of the paper?
Adjust the guides of the paper feeder to the size of the paper.
Load Paper
1. Lift the paper stack cover and pull it out.
Have you specified the correct paper size for the paper feeder?
Is the toner low or unevenly distributed?
Redistribute the toner inside the toner cartridge. If the problem persists, replace the toner cartridge.
Replacing the Toner Cartridge
When the toner is running low, the message <TONER LOW/PREPARE NEW TONER> appears on the LCD. We recommend that you prepare a new toner cartridge for future replacement with ease.
When the message <OUT OF TONER/CHANGE TONER> appears, redistribute toner in the toner cartridge. If the message persists, replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
Is the printing method for received documents set to [CUT] ?
If you want to print a received document without cutting off the end, set the printing method to [ON] or [OFF].
