The date is printed twice.
When using the [Date Stamp] function in [Postcard] mode, you can insert the date in your images. When printing images you have taken with this function, the date will be printed regardless of the settings of the camera and the printer. For this reason, if the camera or the printer is set to print the date, the date will be printed twice on the printed images.
You can check the setting of the [Date Stamp] function in [Postcard] mode on the camera’s LCD monitor.
Set the camera to [Playback] mode (
), and display the image to be printed on the LCD monitor.

If the image appears with the date on the LCD monitor as shown above, the [Date Stamp] function was in use when shooting the image.
When printing images that were taken with the [Date Stamp] function, be careful not to set the camera or printer to print the date.

When you print images taken with the [Date Stamp] function in [Postcard] mode, please note the following.

When printing images by Direct Print, set the [Date] in the Print Settings to [off].
