Speedlite EL-10

Flash Photography Essential

Lightweight and powerful, the Speedlite EL-10 has a maximum Guide Number of 40*. Apart from fast flash recycling and being able to fire up to 55 times or more at full power, this Speedlite also sports the new Multi-Function Shoe. Armed with radio transmission feature, it is also ideal for wireless multi-flash setups.

*At ISO 100 and 105mm flash coverage

  • Lightweight with Maximum Guide Number of 40
  • 1/1024 Micro Flash
  • Control up to 15 Speedlites Wirelessly via Radio Transmission

Powerful Output

The Guide Number (GN) expresses the intensity of light. The Speedlite EL-10 has a much higher output (max GN of 40), compared to a typical camera's built-in flash (max GN of approx. 6).

This enables users to capture gorgeous, well-lit images of far-off subjects in a variety of settings, including group portraits and full-body shots.

Multi-Function Shoe

Speedlite EL-10 is compatible with cameras sporting the Multi-Function Shoe.

It supports high-speed data communication between the speedlite and camera. Compared to the existing 5-pin speedlites, the 15-pin gold-plated terminals do not oxidize easily, reduce contact resistance, and provide a more stable connection.

High Continuous Flash & Fast Recycle Time

The Speedlite EL-10 has a continuous flash count of up to 55 times or more at full output and a recycling time of approximately 2.5 seconds. The quick flash recycling and high number of continuous strobe flashes allow you to shoot moving subjects with minimal delay between photos and for a long period of usage.

*At flash coverage 50 to 105mm and using new AA/LR6 batteries

 Micro Flash

The Speedlite EL-10's wide range of flash output levels (between 1/1 and 1/1024) allows you to explore your creativity in various flash photography situations.

Whether you're shooting in a dimly lit room or under bright sunlight, our flash adapts to your needs.

High-Speed Sync

The high-speed sync function allows you to use a higher shutter speed when shooting.

With higher shutter speeds, large apertures can be used even during outdoor shoots, achieving beautiful background blur effects.

Bounce Flash

The Speedlite EL-10 can be tilted upwards to 90 degrees, rotated to the left up to 150 degrees, and rotated to the right up to 180 degrees.

This allows the Speedlite to be directed in any required direction to bounce the light off different surfaces, creating a softer, more natural lighting.

Multi-Flash Compatible

Equipped with wireless radio transmission, the Speedlite EL-10 is designed as a sender or receiver unit for a multi-flash shooting environment.

As a sender unit, the Speedlite EL-10 can control up to 15 receivers,  which can be controlled individually in up to 5 groups. Multi-flash E-TTL is possible with up to three groups.

Operation Features

Wide Panel

The Speedlite EL-10's wide panel can support ultra-wide-angle shots of up to 14 mm*. When using an ultra-wide-angle lens, you can reduce the loss of peripheral light for more well-lit shots, even at the image's corners.

*not compatible with EF15mm f/2.8 Fisheye and EF8-15mm f/4L Fisheye

Catchlight Panel

Catchlight refers to the light that is reflected in a person's eyes. The Speedlite EL-10 features a panel that can be extended to reflect extra light towards the subject when bouncing flash off the ceiling. The light reflected from the panel helps make the subject's eyes sparkle.

Custom Flash Mode

Customise your own flash modes for easier control during your photo shoot sessions. Flash modes include [C.Flash mode], [Auto update set] and [Camera shoot, mode link].

Intuitive Interface

The well-thought-out design of the cross keys and select dial allow for intuitive operations.

Features like wireless shooting, exposure settings, flash modes, and the Speedlite menu can be accessed directly with the cross keys.
