Introduction

In conjunction with CPM2.0, Canon Imaging Academy is hosting a series of outing to let participants experience what it takes to make an interesting photo (with the competition theme in mind). Each outing will be curated based on the theme of the month for CPM2.0. Participants will gain insightful tips & tricks from our experienced instructor. This is a guided hands-on walkabout session. Beginners and all brands are welcomed too. Bring along your cameras & join us now.

For the month of February, we will explore what it takes to “Reinvent Speed” with an outing to Little India. Outing will be held in accordance with the latest SMM regulation.

Workshop is open to all camera brand users (mirrorless / DSLR cameras)
Registration must be made via this website on a first-come-first-served basis. No reservation entertained.
The detailed information will be informed to participants via email.
Participants must bring their own cameras, lenses, filters, tripod & charged batteries.
Canon Singapore Ptd. Ltd. shall not be held responsible for any injuries or mishaps during the workshop.
In the event of workshop cancellation due to unexpected circumstances, Canon Singapore Ptd. Ltd. will refund participants on their paid fees.

Important Notice

There will be safety measures in place - temperature scanning, hand sanitization and requirement of wearing mask for all attending participants.
We reserve the right to deny entry for the safety of all participants, should there be anyone unwell or unable to follow the safety measures in place.

Instructor

Lance Leong

Based in Singapore, Lance Leong has been a resident instructor with Canon since 2006,Besides daily multi-disciplinary aspects at work to educate/inspire beginners and hobbyists, Lance travels and document various cultures and lifestyles - of places that he'd never imaged.As an individual, Lance strongly believes there is beauty in elements of humanity and life. With a never-say-die mindset, he continues to frame through his viewfinder to gather a body of work that reveals life in our wonderful world from unguarded moments to conceptual themes. Since 2008, Lance has been organising and co-leading numerous travel photography workshops across Southeast Asia and China. This year, he was commissioned by Destination New South Wales and Bangkok Airways for travel photography collaborations respectively.
