    Solution

When playing back an image captured in the vertical orientation, the camera will automatically rotate the image to display it in the vertical orientation by default.

The Auto-Rotate function can be turned off.
      NOTE
      • Images cannot be rotated when you set [Auto Rotate] to [Off]. Additionally, images already rotated will be displayed in the original orientation.
      • In Smart Shuffle, even if [Auto Rotate] is set to [Off], images taken vertically will be displayed vertically, while rotated images will appear in their rotated orientation.

      1. Pree the [ ] button.

      2. Press the [MENU] button.

      3. Move the zoom lever to choose the [ ] tab.
      Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [ ].
Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [Auto Rotate], and then press the [ ] button.

      4. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [Off], and then press the [ ] button.

Press the [MENU] button to return to the image displayed before you changed the setting.

      5. After performing the above operation, images captured in the vertical orientation will not be automatically rotated and are played back on the camera in the original orientation.
