Using AF+MF (PowerShot G3 X)
Solution
You can fine-tune the focus after autofocusing by turning the continuous ring.
IMPORTANT
- The following section explains the setting procedures when the camera’s shooting mode has been set to [Program AE] (
).
For a list of shooting modes in which AF+MF cannot be set, please refer to the table at the end of the page.
1. Press the power button to turn the camera on.
2. Press the [MENU] button.
3. Move the zoom lever to choose the [

5. Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous screen.
6. Press the shutter button halfway to focus on the subject, and continue holding the button halfway down.

] ring. Referring to the onscreen MF indicator bar (which shows the distance and focal position) and the magnified display area, turn the [
] ring to adjust the focus.

NOTE
- To enlarge or reduce the magnified display, press the [DISP.] button.
- To cancel focusing, release the shutter button.
AF+MF cannot be set in the shooting modes shown in the table below.
