Shooting Movies in Creative Shot Mode (PowerShot N2)

    Solution

    If a movie is recorded, the camera will determine the subject and shooting conditions, and add various effects such as slow motion or fast-forward. It also records a short movie of approximately 15 to 25 seconds (creative shot movie) which can make you realize the joy of movies by automatically combining up to four movies. Note that sound is not recorded.

    Shooting Movies in Creative Shot Mode
    1. Set the mode switch to <> , and then press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.

    2. Touch [ ]*.
    *If the default settings have not been changed, [Auto] () will be displayed.



    3. By touching one of the icons displayed, you can choose effects for images captured. After choosing the desired settings, press [ ].


    The available effects are listed below:
    AutoAll effects
    RetroImages resemble old photos
    MonochromeImages are generated in one color
    SpecialBold, distinctive-looking images
    NaturalSubdued, natural-looking images

    4. Touch [ ] to record the first movie.
    • The bar based on the recording time will be displayed.
    • If a movie of three to six seconds is recorded, recording will automatically stop.

    5. Repeat the procedure explained in step three to record the second to fourth movies.

    NOTE
    • Even if the number of movies does not reach four, they will be saved in a different file when the date changes.
    • Although the effects for movies from the first to fourth movies are the same, it is possible to change separately for each movie.
    • Individual chapters can be edited.

    Choosing a Creative Shot Mode Movie for Playback
    You can choose a creative shot movie recorded in Creative Shot mode to play.

    1. Press the <> button to set the camera to playback mode.

    2. Touch [FUNC.], touch [MENU], choose [Play Creative Shot Movies] on the [ ] tab.



    3. Choose and touch the movie to start movie playback.



    4. The movie will be played back.
