    * To change the Picture Style, the camera must first be switched to the < > mode.
    CAUTION
    When shooting movies in the AF mode, it is not possible to track the subject while continuously achieving focus.

    Using Manual Exposure
    When the shooting mode is < M >, you can manually set the shutter speeds, aperture, and ISO speeds shown below and shoot a movie. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for advanced users.
    For further information on how to shoot movies, please refer to the instruction manuals that came with your camera.
    Shutter speedTurn the < Main Dial > . The settable shutter speeds depend on the frame rate (fps).

    ApertureSet the Quick Control Dial switch to < >, and turn the < Quick Control Dial >.
    ISO speedPress the < > button, then turn the < Quick Control Dial >.
    Manual setting range : 100 - 6400
    Auto ISO range : 100 - 6400

    CAUTION
    • If [ AWB ] is set and the ISO speed or aperture changes during movie shooting, the white balance may also change.
    • If you shoot a movie under fluorescent lighting, the movie image might flicker.
    NOTE
    • With the ISO speed set to Auto, you can shoot a movie as if it were in aperture-priority AE mode (fixed aperture, standard exposure).
    • If [C.Fn II -3: Highlight tone priority] is set to [1: Enable], the settable ISO speed range will be ISO 200 - 6400.
    • When shooting a movie of a moving subject, a shutter speed of 1/30 sec. to 1/125 sec. is recommended. The faster the shutter speed, the less smooth the subject's movement will look.
    • Changing the aperture during movie shooting is not recommended since variations in the exposure, due to the drive of the lens aperture, will be recorded.
