    Canon XF Utility 3.2 is software that supports the video format XF-MPEG and XF-AVC, and is used for importing, playing back and managing video data as well as cropping still-image data.

    System requirements

    Required System Configuration:

    To use this software, your computer has to meet the following system requirements.

    1. Supported OS
    - OS X 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, macOS 10.12
    *Can also be used on macOS 10.13.

    2. Supported computers
    A Mac computer supporting the OSes above.

    RAM:
    - 4 GB or more

    3. Display
    - Resolution: 1,024x768 or higher



    Recommended System Configuration:
    To enable real-time playback of 4K 60p movies shot with EOS C700 GS PL, EOS C700, EOS C700 PL, the following additional configurations are recommended in addition to the above required system configurations (with the exception of the case in which the movie is displayed 100%).

    CPU:
    - Intel® Xeon® E5 2.7GHz 12core or greater

    RAM:
    - 32GB or more


    To playback 4K movies shot with EOS C300 Mark II, the following system configurations are recommended in addition to the above required system configurations.

    CPU:
    - Intel® Xeon® E5 2.7GHz 12core or greater

    RAM:
    - 32GB or more


    To playback 4K movies shot with XC15, XC10, the following system configurations are recommended in addition to the above required system configurations.

    CPU:
    - Intel® Core™ i7 (model number in the 4000s 4core / 2.8GHz) or greater

    RAM:
    - 8 GB or more


    To play back movies shot with XF-MPEG models, the following system configurations are recommended in addition to the above required system configurations.

    CPU:
    - Intel® Core™ i5 (model number in the 4000s / 2.4GHz) or greater

    RAM:
    - 4 GB or more

    Caution

    - No value will be displayed on [Noise Reduction] of Canon XF Utility when shooting with the [Noise Reduction] set to [-1] in the EOS C700 GS PL, the Firmware ver.1.0.2.1.00 or later of EOS C700 / EOS C700 PL and the Firmware ver.1.0.7.1.00 or later of EOS C300 Mark II.

    Setup instruction

    Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
    Exit all other applications when installing this software.

    1. Download "xum-3-2-0-8-9l.dmg.gz" from the download page.

    2. Extract "xum-3-2-0-8-9l.dmg.gz" on the computer to generate "xum-3-2-0-8-9l.dmg".

    3. Double-click "xum-3-2-0-8-9l.dmg", and double-click the "XUMInstaller" file in the automatically-mounted disc image "xum32".

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
