In view of the situation of the COVID-19 and in accordance with recommendation by the relevant authorities, the following measures are put in place at Canon Office, Canon Customer Care Centre and Canon Imaging Academy located at Galaxis:
Temperature screening for all persons entering and re-entering the building
Health and travel declarations for all persons entering and re-entering the building
Following the temperature taking and declarations, the following persons will not be allowed entry to the building:
1. Anyone who has been in contact with any person who is a confirmed case of COVID-19 infection in the past 14 days
2. Anyone who has been in affected region* in the past 14 days 3. Anyone currently having fever / flu-like symptoms
To facilitate the temperature screening, access to our Customer Care Centre will be restricted to Galaxis West Lobby (via Level 1) only.

Terms and Conditions of Warranty Plus and Accidental Damage Protection
These terms and conditions apply to (a) the extension (“Extended Warranty”) of the limited warranty ("Limited Warranty") from Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd. ("Canon") for certain Canon equipment ("Equipment") purchased from an authorised dealer of Canon in Singapore and accompanied with a Canon Warranty Statement/Card ("Warranty Card"); and (b) Accidental Damage Protection (“ADP”) during the Limited Warranty period (collectively, “Warranty Plus and ADP”).
Warranty Plus and ADP must be purchased and accepted by Canon within 1 month from the date of purchase of the Equipment. Warranty Plus and ADP is valid only in Singapore. The Extended Warranty is valid for 24 months (“Extended Warranty Period”) as specified in the Extended Warranty acceptance issued by Canon (“Confirmation”) commencing the day after the expiry of the Limited Warranty. ADP is valid from the Date of Purchase for 12 months or until the collection of a replacement of the Equipment made by Canon under ADP, whichever is the earlier. For the avoidance of doubt, any replacement under ADP is limited to 1 time.
Warranty Plus and ADP is valid only for the original purchaser ("Purchaser") of the Equipment and is not transferable. Lost or damaged Warranty Cards and Confirmations will not be re-issued.
The Warranty Card is invalid unless it is (a) not defaced or altered.
The original Warranty Card, purchase receipt and Confirmation must be presented at Canon’s request when requesting Warranty Plus and ADP services.
The Extended Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship encountered under normal use and installation of the Equipment, subject to these terms and conditions. ADP covers damage to the Equipment caused by accident. The defective Equipment or parts thereof covered under the Extended Warranty and/or ADP will be repaired or replaced (with comparable and/or refurbished equipment or parts) as determined by Canon in its sole discretion. Any Equipment or part thereof replaced shall become the property of Canon.
Any delivery and other incidental charges and charges for services beyond the scope of Warranty Plus and ADP shall be borne by the Purchaser.
Warranty Plus and ADP does not cover:
Loss or damage to Equipment arising from or in connection with (i) abuse, tampering modification and/or disassembling other than by Canon authorised personnel; (ii) negligent use and/or misuse (including improper storage, exposure to moisture, excessive temperature, sand, dust, dirt, other pollution or other environmental conditions and failure to follow recommended precautions and operating instructions); (iii) fire, flood, lightning, strike or other acts of God; (iv) defective consumable items such as battery leakage; and (v) accidental damage. Except that the foregoing exclusions will not apply to ADP to the extent that they are considered by Canon to be caused by accident.
Loss or damage to Equipment arising from or in connection with the malfunction of, connection to and/or use of parts, accessories and consumables not authorised or recommended by Canon (including re-conditioned, tampered, re-used and/or non-genuine Canon parts, accessories and consumables). In such event, Canon reserves the right to terminate the Warranty Plus and ADP immediately.
Consumable items, accessories and optional items (eg. bulb/lamp, drum unit, print head, laser unit, battery, battery pack, battery charger, power adapter, cable, connector, software, CF/SD storage card, CD-ROM, ink/toner cartridge, ink sheet, feed roller, separation pad, AC adapter and carrying case).
Software supplied with the Equipment.
Non-Canon products, software and peripherals supplied and/or used in connection with the Equipment.
Lenses, Speedlite or Lens Adapter purchased with the Equipment, whether as part of a kit of otherwise.
Equipment with its serial number removed, defaced or altered.
All decisions by Canon in respect of Warranty Plus and ADP (including repairs, replacements or issues relating to defects of workmanship or materials) shall be conclusive and binding on the Purchaser.
To the extent allowed by applicable laws, no implied warranty (including that of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose) applies to the Equipment after the expiry of the Limited Warranty. The remedies in the Limited Warranty and Warranty Plus and ADP are the Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedies. Canon shall not be liable for loss of data or any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages (including loss of benefits or profits) arising from or in connection with the Equipment, whether based on contract, tort or otherwise.
Nothing in these terms and conditions or otherwise arising from or in connection with Warranty Plus and ADP shall be deemed or construed to be a policy of insurance between Canon and the customer.
Warranty Plus and ADP including these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
