Xephilio OCT-S1

Wider and deeper, super wide-field swept source imaging in one single capture

Canon introduces Xephilio OCT-S1, revolutionary swept source technology allowing wide-field retina imaging of up to 23 mm in a single scan. Xephilio OCT-S1 enables superior penetration of dense objects and provides outstanding tomographic images. The system’s Deep Learning AI technology, Intelligent Denoise, offers a new quality of OCTA images in a single scan with greatly reduced noise, increased details and improved visibility within seconds.

Wide-field Imaging in One Single Capture

Wide-field Imaging in One Single Capture

With Xephilio OCT-S1 revolutionary swept-source technology, it is possible to capture wide-field images (equalling an 80° viewing angle, up to 5.3 mm depth and 23 mm wide) with superior penetration of dense objects and provides outstanding tomographic images in a single scan. This allows wide-spread non-perfused areas (even small capillaries) to be visualised which is useful in diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion.

AI Intelligent Denoise Processing Function

AI Intelligent Denoise

A single click of Canon Artificial Intelligent Noise Reduction Process (Intelligent Denoise), high quality images with low noise can be easily acquired. In addition, this process can be completed in a short time regardless of the size of the image, thereby greatly improved the overall efficiency.

Xephilio OCT-S1 Feature03

Visualise the Microvasculature of the Retina with Angio Expert

OCT-S1 Angio Expert does not require fluorescein injection or pupil dilation, and the examination takes only seconds. SLO-based real-time tracking minimises artefacts. Sophisticated image post-processing with 3D projection artefact removal enables excellent image quality in every scan. Even the smallest blood vessels can be observed in 2D and 3D. Angio Expert software provides a comprehensive set of manual and automated analyses to cater to every individual user’s need.
