*1 Print speed for inkjet printers is expressed in "ipm". A4 Document print speeds are the average of ESAT (Word, Excel, PDF) in Office Category Test for the default simplex mode, ISO/IEC 24734. Print speed may vary depending on system configuration, interface, software, document complexity, print mode, page coverage, type of paper used etc.
Photo print speed is based on the default setting using ISO/JIS-SCID N2 on Photo Paper Plus Glossy II (4 x 6") and does not take into account data processing time on host computer.
*2 Maximum feeding capacity, inclusive of multi-purpose trays, secondary feeding direction and optional accessosories.
*3 Scan speed for A4 document in grayscale, simplex mode.
When scanning A4/LTR documents in portrait orientation at 200 dpi.
*4 Page yields may vary depending on content coverage, print settings, temperature, humidity, and frequency of printing. The inkjet printer page yield is based on the consumption data from the succeeding ink cartridge/bottle but not the included ink cartridge/bottle.
For A4 document: The declared ink bottle yield value is the estimated value based on Canon individual test method using the ISO/IEC 24712 colour chart and continuous printing simulation with the replacement ink bottles after initial setup. The colour yield is based on 1 set of composite colour bottles. The declared ink cartridge yield value is in accordance with ISO/IEC 24711, using the ISO/IEC 24712 colour chart. Values obtained by continuous printing.
For 4 x 6” photo: The declared ink bottle yield value is the estimated value based on Canon individual test method using the ISO/IEC 29103 chart and continuous printing simulation with the replacement ink bottles after initial setup.
Laser printer toner cartridge yield is in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752 (Monochrome products) or ISO/IEC 19798 (Colour products).
*5 Applicable for Document Scanners only.
*6 Based on scanning from standard/ front document feed tray with page-separation mode.
