SINGAPORE, 20 August 2026 — Canon Singapore today announced the launch of its premier business event, the Think Big Leadership Business Series 2026. First established in 2010, the much-anticipated interactive forum brings industry giants, tech pioneers, and enterprise leaders together through live discussions, cross-industry panels, and the immersive 360° Security Showcase to actively map practical solutions for a rapidly evolving business and threat landscape. Under the central theme of 'Securing Tomorrow: Leadership. Innovation. Resilience.', the two-day event will address critical market shifts, including navigating digital trust, building operational resilience, and securing AI-driven transformations.

"In an era defined by an accelerating threat landscape and complex digital risks, enterprise survival hinges on shifting from reactive defence to proactive resilience, making robust cybersecurity foundations a core prerequisite for sustainable business growth," said Too Kok Yong, Head of Singapore Operations Group, Canon Singapore. "Canon Singapore offers a comprehensive cybersecurity suite featuring 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Cyber Awareness Training, and secured remote endpoints to empower our customers to scale with confidence. Through Canon's Think Big Series, we are elevating these conversations beyond technology solutions to equip leadership teams with blueprints to protect their data and maintain operational velocity amidst heightened digital threats."

Unlocking insights on the evolving cybersecurity landscape

A new study1 conducted by global cybersecurity leader ESET, with whom Canon Singapore recently partnered with to offer a cybersecurity suite of solutions, brings data intelligence to this year's Think Big platform. This research underpins the strategic necessity of the new cybersecurity suite, which leverages ESET's advanced threat intelligence to deliver continuous, end-to-end protection for modern businesses.

Among the respondents surveyed in Singapore, sophisticated phishing tactics (36%), IT visibility gaps (34%), and internal skills shortages (34%) emerged as the leading causes of cybersecurity incidents. Delayed detection (55%), lack of visibility across environments (49%) and coordination across teams (44%) were the biggest challenges in containing or remediating cybersecurity incidents.

"Cybersecurity has become a business resilience imperative, not merely an IT concern," said Parvinder Walia, President of the APAC region, ESET. "The real challenge is not only preventing attacks, but detecting and containing them before they disrupt operations, reputation and trust. Our research points to two persistent challenges: delayed detection and insufficient visibility across increasingly complex environments. This is where collaboration matters. Through our partnership with Canon Singapore and leadership platforms such as the Think Big Leadership Business Series, we are helping organisations move from reactive security to sustained resilience — combining MDR-led, around-the-clock threat detection and response with a stronger culture of cyber awareness."

Spotlight on operational resilience and digital trust

Guided by its central theme, 'Securing Tomorrow: Leadership. Innovation. Resilience.', the Think Big series pairs high-level strategic insights with immersive floor demonstrations at the 360° Security Showcase. Over two days of keynotes and executive panels, industry leaders will address the dual imperatives of operational resilience and digital trust. Highlights include:

  • Secure Velocity: Building Business Resilience – The panel discussion will see executives from NETS, Eurokars Group and Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group come together to explore strategies for balancing rapid technological transformation with enterprise security, maintaining customer trust, and embedding operational resilience into everyday business workflows.
  • The Invisible Shield: Redefining Digital Trust – Tackling the technical dimensions of digital trust in the current global landscape, Parvinder Walia, President of the APAC region, ESET, will deliver a headline keynote drawing directly from ESET's latest threat intelligence study.
  • The Trust Dividend: Winning With Cybersecurity – Industry experts from Google APAC, Vanguard Healthcare and Centre for Cybersecurity, will discuss how long-term digital trust demands can help achieve organisational agility, as well as the cross-functional effort required by leadership to maintain continuous operations and preserve client trust.

The 360° Security Showcase demonstrates end-to-end security offerings across five key areas:

  • Secure Your Essentials: Demonstrating hands-on print and scan protection through secure print release and advanced scanning to cloud platforms.
  • Stay Ahead of Every Threat: Featuring the new cybersecurity suite, the zone showcases the AI-powered Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution with 24/7 proactive protection backed by human expert monitoring. Enterprise leaders can also explore other proactive cybersecurity initiatives, including ESET Cyber Awareness Training (ECAT) designed to reduce phishing risks, alongside a showcase of ESET-secured, ultra-lightweight VAIO remote-work endpoints equipped with AI noise cancellation.
