Canon Aids Relief Effort Following Earthquakes in the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic

SINGAPORE, 14 February 2023 — On February 6, 2023, a large-scale earthquake caused extensive damage and loss of life in the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic. We at Canon would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this disaster and our thoughts go out to those suffering in its aftermath.

To aid in the relief efforts for the victims, the Canon Group has announced that it will make a donation of 100,000 euros (approximately US$ 106,334) via the Japanese Red Cross Society, the Turkish Red Crescent movement and other relief organizations. In addition, Canon Medical Systems Europe B.V. will provide free medical equipment for the medical support of the victims.

While we realize that the road to recovery will be challenging and time-consuming, we hope that the region will soon be able to begin the rebuilding and healing process.
