With dozens of creative awards to its name, The Shooting Gallery has firmly established itself as one of Asia’s most creative commercial photography and videography studios.
Started in 1987 by founding photographer Sebastian Tan and two partners, the company came to be when Tan found himself without a job after 7 years in the photography industry.
Instead of looking for a new employer like most would, Tan gathered his partners and started The Shooting Gallery with a capital of just $4,000. At that point, it was all about making a living doing the only thing he knew he was good at.
What Tan did next is considered to be one of the things separating start-ups that succeed from those who don’t.
