Solution
RAW images are "raw" (unprocessed) data, recorded with essentially no loss of image quality from the camera’s internal image processing. Use Digital Photo Professional to adjust RAW images as desired with minimal loss of image quality.
IMPORTANT
- To set [RAW] (

1. Press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.

- When transferring RAW images (or RAW and JPEG images recorded together) to a computer, always use the dedicated software ( [CameraWindow], [ImageBrowser EX], or [Digital Photo Professional].)
- With [RAW] (), or [RAW+JPEG] the noise reduction level, [i-Contrast], and [My Colors] cannot be configured.
- To erase () images, display the () image and press <
> button. Choose from [Erase RAW], [Erase JPEG], or [Erase RAW+JPEG] to erase the image. - The file extension for JPEG images is [.JPG], and the extension for RAW images is [.CR2].
