This workshop is tailored for photographers with little or no knowledge in digital editing or Adobe Photoshop. Course syllabus is crafted with thoughts "for photographer by photographer". There will be ample duration to give participants opportunity for hands-on practice.
Participants get to learn to improvise photos with a number of techniques used by professionals and "amateurs" alike.
Learn to select and use Photoshop's retouching tools (including red-eye correction and "spot healing"), make overall image adjustments, including how to optimize the "tonal range" of your image (making sense of image histograms and "levels"), adjust hue/saturation and color balance, and how to crop, "burn," and "dodge" (cut, darken, and lighten) portions of your image.
This is not a tips and tricks course but a hands-on with fun filled foundation training.
Providing a solid understanding on some of the most common problems in digital photographs, and sharing concepts in layman terms to enhance understanding.
On top of that, Canon Imaging Academy (CIA) is providing workstations for each participant for all the sessions. All our workstations are running on MacOS platform. Students are not required to bring their laptop for the classes.
This workshop is capped 10 students to 1 instructor to ensure quality attention time to each student, enhancing your learning experience with us at CIA.
